The Váróterem Projekt group had just came back from a five day tour from Hungary.
Between January 22-24 the company had presented three shows, Advertego, Zero and paraFables at the Bethlen Téri Theater’s Vendégváró Festival in Budapest. The festival had its fourth edition this year, and it’s main goal is to present theater companys from outside the borders to the public in Budapest. The shows enjoyed a great success, and after the Advertego and Zero presentation there were some discussion about the shows, lead by Kútszegi Csaba and Turbuly Lilla.
The tour continued in Nagykovácsi and Debrecen, where they presented the paraFables. In Nagykovácsi they played at the Öregiskola Community Center, and in the Youth House in Debrecen.
Why are you afraid?
Maybe because you might lose everything you own.
Maybe because you might lose everything your mind holds.
So you are cought in the midle.
On the other hand eternity is calling you.
You don’t want to turn back, but still you hesitate to accept eternity.
Now you are in a transition state.
In a transition camp.
A flight has been announced.
You can not turn back.
Your flight has left already, and you are sitting in the waiting room.
You’re waiting your call, that’s all.
From the moment you realized: this place is just a waiting room, don’t get attached to anything. This is just a temporary place. No one will be here and no one was here before. Don’t get stuck here. Give up everything, so you could travel easily.
Everything that happens in your life is just a transition: nothing is permanent. Everyone just passes through. Some people are just arriving, others are waiting to their call. You’re quite lucky to know: you are in a waiting room. Be ready. Don’t get attached. You have to go home.” –M.
