Váróterem Projekt officially opens the ZUG on the 29th of September with a brand new production: we will have the premiere of the performance entitled Unpredicted, directed by Sinkó Ferenc. After succesful performances such as Parallel, #swansong or Parental Ctrl, director Sinkó Ferenc works together for the first time with the actors from our company. The creators of the performance are: Sipos Krisztina, Gábor Zsófia, Iszlai József, Sipos Júlia and Almási Attila. Performers: Csepei Zsolt, Imecs-Magdó Levente, Sebők Maya and Udvari Tímea.
Unprecise, unpredictable, unpreferred, unprefixed, Unpredicted: these are the possibilities. Choose one!
Performance supported by AFCN, EMMI and NKA.
Unpredicted on 29th and 30th of September, Friday and Saturday, at 8 pm, ZUG.zone (Traan street nr. 40-42). After Saturday’s night show we invite you to a season opening party hosted by Iszlai. Come and join us!
We welcome you in the ZUG for the 2017-2018 season with a richer program than ever before. For the first time in the history of Váróterem Projekt, we are preparing a total of four premieres.
Firslty, at the end of this month, we will launch our new production: the first collaboration of our ensemble with director Sinkó Ferenc. Everything is unpredictable, just like the results of a board game or a football match. Especially if we grab some paint brushes in our hand… On September 29th and 30th Unpredicted.
On October 30th we address the little ones: we will have the premiere of the production Dragon works directed by Imecs-Magdó Levente, based on the stories from the storywriting contest entitled Heroes. The show is produced in partnership with the Puppet Teather Puck.
The rest of the season will be centered around trilogies: in December we will present a new production directed by Botos Bálint, which marks the third joint production, and in April we will explore the subject of bullying together with director Cosmin Matei.
Furthermore, our program will include our older productions as well, like: Zero, Occupy Yourself, Tuesday – choirtemporary show, Advertego which can all be seen in ZUG, as well as Reacting Chernobyl, with which we will be present at various festivals. In the first part of May, 2018 there is a tour with three stations in Hungary included in our plans.
Our goal at the same time is that our children‘s performances and the production Bánk bán? Present! – for the distribution of which Buchmann Wilhelm has recently joined – to be played regularly in schools in Cluj-Napoca.
This is the exciting new season to which we invite you to. Let‘s meet in the ZUG, and not only!
The summer music festivals are ending, but the Váróterem Projekt is just beginning it’s autumn festival tours. In September we are fulfilling two invitations, both with the performance Reacting Chernobyl by Cosmin Matei. On September the 12th we will play at the International Theatre Festival at Turda (FIT), and on the 21st of September we will present our performance at Satu Mare, at the Tranzit Fest. In October and November there are other festival invitations waiting for us. Good luck to us!
