On October 23, at 20.00 we invite you to the production Tuesday – choirtemporary show directed by Sipos Krisztina. The show can be watched for the first time after attending the festivals in Budapest and Timisoara. The novelty is that this time Imecs-Magdó Levente will be singing in the Choir.
On October 30 at 18 o‘clock the premiere of the Dragon Works will take place, a performance created by Váróterem Projekt in collaboration with „Puck“ Puppet Theater.
We end the month with the performance Reacting Chernobyl, directed by Cosmin Matei, which can be viewed on October 31 from 20 o‘clock at ZUG. According to our plans, the performance will be followed by a thematic audience meeting which will provide a framework for questions and discussions.
Our programs are supported by Cluj-Napoca City Hall, within the On Stage 3 program.
The independent theaters in Cluj started the season together, to which the two state theaters have joined as well. The joint public development project of the three independent spaces of Cluj – Paintbrush Factory, Reactor and ZUG – just as the theater companies operating in them – ColectivA, Groundfloor Group, Reactor and Váróterem Projekt – has begun in the summer. The first step in this collaboration was a brainstorming session organized at Măguri Răcătău between July 10 – 12, and the first results of the project were the platform www.teatruincluj.ro and the Interdependent card for the loyal theater-goers, presented at the press conference on September 26 at ZUG.
The platform aims to make it easier for the public to navigate through theater offers in Cluj of the mentioned theater companies and of the National Theater and the Hungarian State Theater as well. The Interdependent card encourages spectators to try out different theater offers of multiple spaces: at each theater viewers receive a stamp when watching a performance, and those who visit all five spaces receive a free entry.
We look forward to seeing all those interested. We’re waiting you with stamps!
