IntimIdate Me: the fourth premiere of the season
We have reached the fourth premiere of this year, and the end of this season. On Friday, June 15, starting at 20 o`clock we present the performance entitled Intimidate Me. The production is the third collaboration between Váróterem Projekt and director Cosmin Matei, after Occupy Yourself and Reacting Chernobyl shows.
Synopsis: No matter how we move into the vast subjective territories, we formalize feelings of emotions, thoughts and alternative actions. We even become their object. Under all this, however, the imaginary of life works transversely. Access to this imaginary has become the art of each of us. It’s our responsibility where we choose to place it. But more often than not it happens that objects enter a void of orientation. And the responsibility of those experienced to the novice’s orientation instincts is a vital condition. And when both poles share the same orientation void, only chaos works with elementary particles, their integrity becoming a variable. So where do we lay our imagination?

Occupy Yourself on Thursday
After a long time, we are playing Occupy Yourself again. The production is the first collaboration of the team with director Cosmin Matei and is based on the book entitled In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts by Dr. Máté Gábor, and on the actors’ own texts. The theme of the performance is addiction and its mechanisms: it is not exclusively about alcohol or drug addiction, but about those daily dependencies that are fully accepted by society, but they have the same mechanism as the more notable addictions. The show was created following the team’s participation in a seven-day creation camp at Chidea, as well as their participation in a drug addiction center at Ozd, Mureș county.
