In 2018 we have presented 58 shows, we had 4 premieres (Dragon Works, Grove, IntimIdate me, Fishez), we participated in 7 festivals and organized a tour in Hungary with Reacting Chernobyl. Dear spectators, partners, sponsors – thank you for being with us this year as well!
We wish you a Merry Christmas before the well-deserved rest!
Happy New Year!
We are sorry to announce that we have to postpone the premiere of the show entitled Romania 100, scheduled for December 18, due to a series of illnesses among the company. The new date set for the performance written and directed by Lovassy Cseh Tamás is January 29, 2019. We apologize for the inconvenience, thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you at the premiere!
In early November we started the rehearsals of Romania 100 (working title), a show directed by Lovassy Cseh Tamás. Contrary to our usual routine, this time we started to build the performance from an initial text and story, written by the director of the show. The artistic team is: Csepei Zsolt, Gábor Zsófi, Imecs-Magdó Levente, Mostis Gergő, Pál Emőke, Sebők Maya. We collaborate with a band formed by four pupils from Apáczai Csere János High School (Ballai Álmos, Jakab Ádám, Jenei Deborah and Sárosi Áron, the last two playing a role in the show). Kovács Emese also joins us, who is a 3rd year student at dramaturgy at Theater Institute, Babeș-Bolyai University.
Our goal is to explore the methods and conditions of romanian-hungarian coexinstence, our strange relation with our institutes, and the duality of leaving the country or stay. The starting point is a mediatized ethnic scandal from a small city from Romania. The show is sponsored by the AFCN.
